How many treatments will I need?
You should achieve excellent results with 1-3 session.
The first results will appear over the following 14-21 days. Subsequent treatments can be repeated once or twice, with a month’s interval between each session.
I’m booked in for a treatment, is there anything I need to do beforehand?
BBL therapy is adaptable for all Fitzpatrick skin types. Advances in BBL technology now allow for safe treatment of darker skin tones (up to Fitzpatrick skin type V) with proper adjustments and expert guidance of our Dermal Therapists.
Do not use fake tan for at least 2 weeks before undergoing all BBL treatment. It’s crucial to ensure your skin is free from artificial tanners to avoid serious skin reactions.
What can I expect after my treatment?
Patients can typically resume normal activities immediately following a BBL HEROic treatment. Follow your Dermal therapist’s advice closely. Avoid direct sun exposure and wear sunscreen.
1. Your skin may feel sensitive, like a sunburn.
2. During healing, pigmented areas may darken, and some swelling and redness may persist temporarily.
3. Your body’s natural healing process of replacing damaged cells with new cells will begin in the days to weeks following your treatment and will result in revitalised skin.
